New Batteries Installing
- To get started, insert one of your backup keys into the keyhole. Push the key in and rotate the key 60 degrees clockwise to open the safe.
- With the safe unlocked, locate and remove the two battery cover under the keypad. Each battery compartment holds two AAA alkaline batteries.
- Insert 4 brand new AAA alkaline batteries (not included), making sure the polarity (+/-) is correct.
- When the batteries are properly inserted, all indicators will light up with a beep.
Low Battery Warning
- The batteries need to be replaced when the fingerprint sensor lights up ROSE PINK and the keypad flashes BLUE 10 times with 10 beeps during electronic unlock.
- A built-in USB Type-C port on the right side of the safe can be used when the batteries are depleted without the keys. This port is for emergency use only, not for long-term use.
- You can simply plug a USB Type-C cable (not included) into the port to electronically unlock the safe as normal. It cannot be used for charging.
IMPORTANT:
- Do not place or store the backup keys inside the safe at any time.
- Use 4 NEW AAA Alkaline batteries. New batteries can not be used together with old batteries.
- Mixing batteries may cause the device to become unusable.
- The safe locks automatically when the lid is fully closed.
Master Code Programming
First time users should change the default code (1-2-3-4) as soon as possible to prevent unauthorized access to your safe. The code should be kept confidential.
NOTE :
- Before the safe is electronically unlocked, touch any number until all indicators light BLUE to wake up the system.
- Programming a new code will overwrite your previous code.
- Your code can be a minimum of 4 digits and a maximum of 6 digits.
- Two keys cannot be pressed simultaneously.
- With the safe open, press and hold the Program Button for 3seconds, until all indicators flash BLUE once with a beep.
- Enter your NEW master code within 10 seconds.
- Simply press the Program Button again, all indicators flash BLUE 2 times with 2 beeps. This tone confirms that the passcode has been reset.
- Now test the code. If you made a mistake during setting, all indicators will flash RED 5 times with 5 beeps, and the new code will not work, simply start over from step 2.
Biometric Fingerprint Registering
- With the safe open, press and hold the Program Button for 3 seconds, until all indicators flash BLUE once with a beep.
- Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor for the 1st of six scans. Make sure your finger completely covers the sensor. Remove your finger after all indicators flash BLUE once with 1 beep. Repeat this process until all indicators flash BLUE 2 times with 2 beeps.
- Now your fingerprint has been successfully registered.
- If you register a fingerprint unsuccessfully, all indicators will flash RED 5 times with 5 beeps, and the new fingerprint will not work. You must repeat the above steps to re-register your fingerprints.
NOTE :
- Make small adjustments to the position of your finger each time to ensure that the every angle of the fingerprint can be scanned.
- Don't move your finger while the fingerprint sensor is scanning.
- You cannot register more than 20 fingerprints. If all indicators flash RED 5 times with 10 beeps when you register your fingerprints, it means the fingerprint storage capacity is full.
Helpful Programming Tips :
- Place your finger on the center of the sensor (this allows the sensor to read where most of the fingerprint detail is located).
- Adjust your finger slightly between scans for increased accuracy.
- Excessive moisture, lotion, or dirt will affect your fingerprint and may cause inaccurate sensor reading.
- If you are experiencing difficulty, try different fingers. Each finger is unique, and some fingers such as your thumb, contain more readable information than others.
- To increase your success rate, please register the same fingerprint multiple times.
Registered Fingerprints Deleting
- Press and hold the Program Button.
- All indicators will flash BLUE once with a beep.
- Continue to hold down the Program Button until all indicators flash BLUE 2 times with 2 beeps.
- Now all previously registered fingerprints are erased.
Lock-Down System
- If an incorrect code or unregistered fingerprint is entered 5 times in a row, the safe will go into a lockdown mode for 5 minutes.
- During this time, the fingerprint sensor flashes RED, the keypad and fingerprint sensor will be temporarily disabled. The safe can still be opened using the backup key override.
- After 5 minutes, the safe will automatically resume its normal operation.
Silent Mode Setting
After waking up the system, press and hold the number "1" for 3 seconds until all indicators flash BLUE 2 times to mute the electronics. To unmute, repeat this step.
Securing Your Safe
Security Cable Using
- Loop the security cable around a secured object.
- Run the end of the cable through the eyelet on the other end and pull tightly around the object.
- Insert the end of the security cable into the fully enclosed cable mount inside your safe.
- Make sure the safe closes with the cable secured in the cable mount.
Mounting Screws Using
TIP: Before installing the safe, make sure there is enough room for the lid to open properly.
- Place the safe on a flat surface where you want to mount it.
- Mark the drill holes with a pencil.
- Drill pilot holes.
- Position the safe and insert screws through the safe into the pilot holes. Tighten the screws.
IMPORTANT:
If the safe is mounted vertically with the door facing up, the safe will not open completely due to the weight of the safe. The door opens downward or to the side when the safe is mounted vertically.
